HOW DO I ORDER A CAKE?

There are many factors that go into the creation of a custom cake, so the most efficient way to begin discussing your event is to e-mail me. The first thing I need to know is the date of your event so that I can check if it is still available. Please provide the following information and I will contact you as soon as possible (usually 24-48 hrs):

• Date of Event
• Event theme/occasion (Bridal shower, birthday, baby shower  etc.)
• Ideas, colors, and/or description of cake design you are thinking of    (You can attach a photo or link to your email if you'd like)
• Number of people cake needs to feed
• Cake flavor and filling choice (Click for cake or cupcake menus) 
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Delivery time and location (Yes we deliver)

PRICING

JGM DELIGHTS creates cakes for birthday parties, baby showers or any special occasion that calls for a cake.  I do not have set prices since all of my cakes are unique, and customized to you.  Each cake is a custom creation and I price per slice (the basis for pricing used by most bakeries). The price is dependent on the number of servings, extent of the design, flavor and fillings. 

Additional sugar work such as gumpaste flowers and fondant figures are priced separately.  Other factors that add to the price include cake sculpting, gumpaste decorations, painting, airbrushing, or other time consuming design elements, and delivery.

Do you require a deposit for cake orders?​

Yes. I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cake order in order to hold your date. My orders are taken on a first come, first serve basis. I receive inquiries for dates that are unavailable, so if an order is cancelled at the last minute, I lose business that I could have had from other orders I turned down. For this reason deposit money will not be returned if an order is cancelled.

Cakes must be paid in full one week before the date of delivery, unless otherwise arranged. 

Where is your bakery?

​I don't have a retail space. I bake to order and deliver to locations in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Westchester, Staten Island and New Jersey.
